$100 Million, 33-Story Tower Set to be Built Near Memorial Park in 2024

News Update: Zieben Group Plans to Construct 33-Floor Tower in Uptown Houston

Houston-based Zieben Group is set to make a significant mark on the Uptown area near Memorial Park with the construction of a 33-floor tower that will cater to office, residential, and retail needs. The Woodway Tower, located at 11 Riverway Drive, is a 617K SF building that will feature 11 floors of residential space with 125 apartments, five floors of office space, a penthouse, and restaurants on the top floor.

Zieben Group’s President and CEO, Lee Zieben, shared with the Houston Business Journal that the office space in the tower will target users looking for smaller boutique spaces and will eventually serve as the headquarters for Zieben Group. The development is estimated to cost around $100 million, with Gensler as the architect for the project and discussions ongoing with Tellepsen as the potential general contractor.

The decision to develop a mix of residential and office space was a strategic one, as Zieben wanted to offer boutique, high-end spaces that would be well-received by the market. The unique combination of offerings in the Woodway Tower is expected to attract a diverse range of tenants and residents.

With construction set to begin in January, the Woodway Tower is poised to become a prominent feature in the Uptown skyline, adding to the vibrant mix of commercial and residential developments in the area. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project as it progresses towards completion.
